Meet Claire, Unlock Tutoring Founder & Head Tutor
My name is Claire, and I have 27 years of experience as a Geography teacher, head of department, tutor and examiner of A Level and GCSE Geography.
I have a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise. I pride myself on enabling all my pupils, irrespective of their ability to reach and exceed their full potential. I asses the individual learning needs of my pupils, and tailor my teaching accordingly, building a programme of study that best suits their learning style and their academic needs, this enables all pupils to engage and understand the curriculum to the highest level.
Approach To Tutoring
As part of my tutoring package, I will plan sessions that are individually tailored to my pupils, with 1:1 tutoring sessions I can focus on those topics and units’ pupils find more challenging and tailor my teaching to their exact academic and topic needs. As an experienced examiner I will teach strategies to answer all levels of exam questions, so that pupils are familiar and confident with the exam format and exam questions.
